This is how the Similili helps the heroes of tomorrow
SIMilili is a non-profit project that was initiated by student friends near our production facility. It was important to us to know that the money goes to children in need of help and is not wasted on high administrative costs. SIMilili is run by students from the University of St.Gallen in cooperation with the NGO School4Life. The donations will be used to set up an agricultural business for the Matsarigi School, with which it can finance itself sustainably and is not dependent on donations in the long term. For every order we plant a tree with Mama Earth
Mama Earth was founded 25 years ago by Ulrich Kronberg and has planted over 2.5 million mangroves over the past few decades. Mangroves are among the most effective climate activists as they filter CO2 from the air and store it in both wood and soil. All projects are carried out in close collaboration with local communities. In addition to the planting activities, plastic is collected from the sea to enable sea turtles to lay their eggs on the beach. The plastic waste is melted into chairs for schools.
